Supported by Boohoo, this colourful 4 day party celebrates the wonderful community we have. Lowry Outlet Makers Market

MediaCity dwellers and Salford fun seekers, head to The Makers Market this weekend for some fun in the sun. Discover the very finest local food, drink, art, design, vintage and modern craft carefully selected from Manchester artisans and businesses local to the North West. Held outside the Lowry Outlet, this free event is a monthly occurrence, with this August weekend running a 3 day special.

Luna Kids Open Air Cinema

Ever wanted to experience your favourite movie outside on a summer’s evening? Now you can with the Luna Kids Open Air Cinema at the beautiful Harewood House in Leeds. This famous festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Blasting out from the 23 – 25 August at Bramham Park, you’ll be able to rock to Foo Fighters, The 1975, Post Malone, Blossoms and loads more top artists! Boathouse Feast

Come on down to Water Lane Boathouse in Canal Wharf for a bank holiday feast! There’ll be live music, DJ’s, tap takeovers, gin and Aperol bar, face painting, kids activities and more at the picture-perfect canalside location. Best of all, this Saturday and Sunday event is free entry and you can even bring the kids and the dog!

International Beatle Week

Join Liverpool in celebrating the International Beatle Week Festival, with a selection of parties and events across the city all week. We think the Annual Beatles Convention on Sunday 25th August looks awesome. There’ll be guest speakers, interviews, film shows, a flea market filled with tons of Beatles memorabilia and much more.

Creamfields Festival

The August Bank Holiday hosts some of the UK’s top music festivals, and well up there in the favourites has to be Creamfields. From Thursday 22nd – Sunday 25th, you can dance the night and day away to the very best in electronic, techno and a variety of other genres. Experience an adventure like no other. Fun for all the family, Knowsley Safari Park is hosting a spectacular pop up of over 80 lifesize animal sculptures made from LEGO® bricks. Search amongst the real meerkats, bushdogs, giraffe and more to find these creations, marking them off on your map as you go!
