Ascend Boosts Operational Capabilities with Arrival of Menno Devree

Menno joins as firm’s first Head of Operational Change

Ascend – the UK’s leading manager of institutional living assets and the largest third-party operator of single family rental (SFR) homes – has boosted its operational team with the arrival of Menno DeVree in the new role of Head of Operational Change.

Menno joins having previously been Head of UK Property Operations at vacations rental group Awaze and with more than 10 years’ experience in the residential lettings and property management sector. As Head of Operational Change, he will be reviewing Ascend’s current systems and protocols, developing and implementing efficiencies in the firm’s operations and creating a platform that is ready for growth as the business continues to scale.

Ascend holds management mandates with leading institutional investors and oversees around two thirds of the entire UK SFR asset class, alongside wider living sector instructions. Ascend Living, the firm’s unique ‘white label’ resident-facing brand is one of the UK’s largest operators of institutional living assets, providing investors with a turnkey identity for unbranded platforms. More than 4,000 homes across the UK, from a variety of portfolios, are operated under the Ascend Living name.
