Q1) What’s your position at Ascend?

I’m one of the Portfolio Managers at Ascend, primarily managing the properties both effectively and efficiently from a client perspective. As a designated point of contact for the clients, I manage every aspect of their assets to ensure a service customised to their individual needs and wants. The day to day aspect of my position includes establishing rental demands based on specialist knowledge of the market, detailed income/expenditure reports, portfolio reviews and recommendations, and all other aspects of property management to ensure the maximum return on our clients investments, with minimal hassle for them.

Q2) What’s the best part of your job?

To put it simply, the variety! From the moment you walk into the office in the morning, to the last phone call or e-mail in the evening – no two days are ever the same. Working with such a wide range of clients, from all walks of life is something I really enjoy, whether they are a first time Landlord learning the ropes, or a seasoned investor with a large portfolio. Our clients come in all shapes and sizes, and I really enjoy getting to know them and developing a great working relationship built on trust.

At Ascend, property isn’t just our work, it’s our passion and I really love working with people who share that excitement and enthusiasm for what we do, this is what truly sets up apart from every other agent out there.
