Ascend Secures Renewed Property Management Mandate for UK’s Largest SFR Portfolio Ascend has overseen leasing and property management on the portfolio since 2020 Following the sale of The PRS REIT’s single-family rental (SFR) portfolio to Northern LGPS and Local Pensions Partnership Investments, Ascend has been appointed to continue as the leasing and property management partner by the platform’s new owners. Ascend is the UK’s leading third-party operator of SFR homes and was appointed to oversee the leasing and property management for new schemes within the portfolio in 2020. A year later, Ascend secured the mandate for the entire platform, totalling 5,478 homes across 71 schemes. The reappointment reflects the role Ascend has played in the portfolio’s strong performance over the past five years. As of 30th September 2025, the portfolio had a 99% rent collection rate and 97% occupancy. Across all its instructions, Ascend operates over 12,000 homes.
