Ascend Shortlisted for 'Best Use of Operational Technology' at the 2024 Love to Rent BTR Awards

We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for the ‘Best Use of Operational Technology’ category at this year’s Love to Rent BTR Awards. This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in delivering top-tier services to both residents and investors, supported by our cutting-edge proprietary technology.

We’re also especially proud to be the only operator/property manager that’s a finalist for this category!

In the past two years alone, we have invested over £2 million in technology development and innovation. Our internal IT development team collaborates with various departments to bring efficiencies across the board, ensuring our operations and tech blend seamlessly.

Some of the key systems we have built in-house:

  • Onboarding platform
  • Diary management portal
  • Maintenance & nominal tracking dashboard
  • Arrears platform
  • Bills & void management system
  • Compliance app
  • Automated renewal platform
  • End of tenancy system
  • Instant OpEx generator

As the UK’s largest third-party operator of single-family BTR, our bespoke systems have been built with scale in mind, supporting our client’s portfolios as they develop and grow. As well as improving the overall resident experience, our tech stack helps to drive efficiencies and increased returns for our clients.

We’d like to extend a huge congratulations to all the other finalists, and a special thank you to our incredible partners & clients for your ongoing support.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the hard work and innovation from the team here at Ascend, and in particular our talented IT Development team. Their dedication to advancing our proprietary tech platform has been crucial in shaping Ascend’s forward-thinking approach to property management.

The Love to Rent BTR Awards ceremony will be held at The Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square on Friday 25th October. Stay tuned for more updates and wish us luck!
