Meet The Team - Ryan Mullender

Q1) What’s your position at Ascend? 
I’m a Senior Sales and Lettings Negotiator. My day to day role varies but it mainly involves meeting new and existing clients for sales and rentals. This can be anyone looking to buy, rent, sell or let a property. I also look after all new business that Ascend is asked to tender for, so I will go out to undertake market appraisals and explain why they should use us here at Ascend, whether it be to sell their property or find tenants for it. I will meet the client and establish their needs from an agent and discuss all avenues and options available to them.

Q2) What’s the best part of your job? 
I love all aspects of my job and the variety that it offers, but I particularly like meeting new clients. I see my job as a big jigsaw puzzle and our properties and clients are pieces of this puzzle that I can put together. I also love building a rapport with my clients as I believe this is an important aspect of my role. Having a client that trusts you is imperative and it also makes my job much more enjoyable when you have a good working relationship with all parties. 

Q3) Why do you love working at Ascend?
Ascend is an exciting company which I have been with from the start. It is great to see how far we have come in such a short space of time and to work with a team that I can share ideas with is brilliant. Nothing is impossible here, and I love that we have set out to be different from every other agent out there right now. From the systems we use and the passion we have for our clients and their properties, our drive and determination is echoed across the whole company and that’s so refreshing to be part of. I have confidence that whoever my clients speak to at Ascend, they will always be treated with care and be dealing with an experienced member of our fantastic team.
