Meet The Team - Alexandra Howard Say hello to Alex – the first member of staff to feature from our Liverpool office! We ask her a few questions about how she’s finding Ascend life so far…Q1) What’s your position at Ascend?I am the Branch Manager for the Liverpool office, which only officially opened in May this year. I manage the day to day running of the office for both sales and lettings with a main role of generating new business. I have an extensive knowledge of the city centre and am able to combine the skills of myself and my colleagues to ensure we meet the high standards needed to attract new clients and grow the business. I have to admit, it was scary stepping into a brand new role that no one had ever done before but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it!Q2) What’s the best part of your job?Variety – no one day is the same. Every day can bring a new challenge which only pushes me to achieve the best I possibly can. This role has also allowed me to meet a whole new selection of landlords, vendors, tenants and buyers from all different walks of life - I really enjoy being the initial point of contact for clients, building rapport and having a strong relationship with each of them.Q3) Why do you love working at Ascend?I have only been with the company for 7 months but it already feels like one big family. Everyone works together to achieve the best we possibly can as a team. We aren’t afraid to step out of comfort zones and push boundaries. It’s a competitive marketplace and we like to be different – that’s what makes us unique and what makes Ascend such an exciting business to be a part of.Ascend really is different to anyone else in the property market right now and I am immensely proud to be a part of the family. Having been in the Liverpool office since day one, it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come in such a short space of time and I can’t wait to see what the next 12 months brings for us.
