Let's Get Planting

As of the 1st October 2021, we will be starting our next initiative as part of our aim to become carbon neutral.  

We are aware that it is everyone's responsibility to take care of the world we live in, so we are going to start taking strides to offset our own carbon emissions. 

Ascend’s next initiative is to plant one tree for every property we sell or let. So that means our customers are not just receiving an amazing new home, they’re also contributing to the global climate crisis!

We will be planting trees in bulk every six months within forests both in the UK and across the globe, and we will be sure to keep you all updated on the progress we are making. 

Based on last year's figures, we are predicting to plant over 5,000 trees throughout the next 12 months. This will offset around 302 tonnes of CO2 every year. As we continue to grow, so will the amount of trees we plant.

We will use Ecologi to plant our trees, who will plant them all around the world. The brilliant thing about what Ecologi do is that they do not just plant the trees, they will use the scheme to create employment in these areas. This means this will not just help the planet, but it will help to build and sustain communities.
