Apartments remain on top

Apartments remain on top in the North

As we all know, tenant demands have altered across the UK over the last 8 or so months. The desire for gardens, more space, faster broadband connections and living close to green space have jumped to the top of the priority list.

Working predominantly with high rise apartments and city flats across the North West, we are pleased to say that while, overall, houses are doing fantastically on the market, flats and apartments are still coming out on top.

In an article recently published by Landlord News, it explained that Manchester is currently receiving the highest demand for flats and apartments in the UK at 57%, Liverpool second with tenant demand at 53% and Leeds fifth at 33%. This is great news for our Landlords as it’s safe to say in the areas that we cover, no matter the climate, it seems there is always a high tenant demand, but especially for flats and apartments.

There is an abundance of reasons as to why this may be, but one thing we do know is that the North doesn’t simply offer standard apartments. It offers unique, beautifully presented, well-maintained and luxury apartments in sought after locations (no matter the economic climate). Where a home can offer a little more than just a space to exist, there will always be high demand, and that is certainly something we’re proud to offer in the North West and at Ascend.
