Managing Director

Our illustrious leader. Ged has an unrivalled knowledge of the Manchester property market which has heavily contributed to the success of Ascend and their second-to-none service.

Ged previously spent over a decade as the driving force behind a renowned Manchester property agency.

Head of Build to Rent

Adam heads up our Build to Rent asset management teams and the day to day running of our head office. He makes sure that everything is running smoothly for both landlords and tenants and steps in where necessary with any difficult queries. Adam has been with Ascend since it was set up and is practically part of the furniture.

Operations Manager

Stacey's our Operations Manager here at Ascend and is responsible for the day to day running of our Property Management centre, as well as overseeing branch activity. Her knowledge of residential property is second to none and she's always on hand to support and guide the team with any issues or queries they might have, as well as often dealing with Landlords and Clients. A real lover of tea, she gets through more brews than our entire office team put together!

Team Leader BtR

James has been part of the Ascend family for several years. Specialising in property management, he leads the dedicated BtR team and ensures all residents are receiving the highest possible level of service. From overseeing maintenance requests to delivering customer satisfaction, James knows exactly how to run a happy team of Build to Rent Asset Managers and aims to guarantee that all residents are loving their home.

Area Lettings Manager BtR

Azim heads up the lettings team for our Build to Rent function of the business. His experience and genuine love of the rental market makes him the go-to for all things BtR within Ascend. He oversees the full lettings process and transition from vacant-to-let across our developments in the West Midlands and North West.

Senior Portfolio Manager

Lora is our senior portfolio manager, with over 10 years of experience in the property industry, Lora looks after a large portfolio of investor clients and ensures that maximum returns are achieved. The main point of contact for her clients, Lora is incredibly efficient when dealing with any questions or queries.

Portfolio Manager

Mark manages a portfolio of residential properties located around the UK for a number of investor clients. As the main point of contact for his clients, Mark is always able to answer any queries, provide advice and is always on hand to help in any way. He has an extensive knowledge of the property industry with over 6 years of experience and understands what is required to excel in this business.

Portfolio Manager

Charlotte, preferably known as Charlie is our newest Portfolio Manager. She's worked in the property industry for around 7 years and has had various roles within block management, maintenance, contractor liaison and property management. Charlie joined in November 2019 and is the sole point of contact for her clients and landlords, answering any queries they may have and keeping them up to date with the latest on their properties. She leads her small property management team, Fiona and Katie. Charlie's known for her efficiency, meticulous attention to detail and ability to absorb information!

Referencing Manager

Lucy looks after the referencing department at Ascend. She has been in the property industry for just over 3 years working within all departments ranging from lettings, sales and property management. She is the main point of contact for tenants before they move into a property carrying out the essential checks on them which inevitably gives insurance to the landlords.

Referencing Co-ordinator

Amanda is one of our referencing co-ordinators here at Ascend. An eye for detail and a passion for people and processes means that the Ascend service is consistently high throughout the business. Even with 15 years spent in the industry and a fair few qualifications, Amanda is always keen to keep ahead of the game.

Referencing Co-ordinator

Ellie is our newest member of the Referencing team at Head Office and works in Lucy's team. She joined in early 2020 embarking on a new career in property. Speaking with residents on the phone and via email, Ellie is always on hand to help tenants with the referencing process and helps organise move-ins.

Receptionist

Lynsey is Ascend's Receptionist based at the head office in Sale. She's the main point of contact for all incoming calls and enquiries to the business, so she's always super busy making sure every customer and client gets to who they need to. She joined us in October 2018 and has been the life and soul of the office ever since.

Accounts Team Leader

Jacob has been part of the furniture for 5 years. He started back in 2015 as an assistant in the Accounts department and has since worked his way up to become the Team Leader. His knowledge, outlook and positive approach is what makes him the go-to for all things accounts.

External Team Leader

Olly is our external team leader where he manages the external diary and team across our Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds offices ensuring that all the correct checkouts, inventories and interim inspections have taken place and are all in check. He’s also in charge of dealing with tenancy handovers and any snagging issues with new developments, as well as training new members of the external team

Property Inspector

Ciaran has been with us for over a year and works as a Property Inspector within Oli's team. He previously worked on the developer side of the industry, for a SME Housebuilding company. His role includes conducting inventories and interim inspections and creating checkout reports.

Property Inspector

Julie is a great asset to our property inspection team. She conducts check outs, inventories and inspections. Julie has been in this role for the past seven years and knows exactly how to carry out inspections as efficiently as possible.

Property Inspector

Imogen is part of the Property Inspector team, based out of the Head Office in Sale. She spends most of the day all over Greater Manchester conducting all kinds of check-out, inventory and interim inspections. She has recently joined Ascend after relocating back from Melbourne, where she first joined the property industry in 2018.

Property Inspector

Alexa is the newest member of our PI team. Having previously worked in Property Management for a Manchester based agency, she joined the Ascend family in February 2020 and spends most of the day on the road. Alexa ensures our BtR properties are thoroughly inspected so that Ascend's higher standards are always maintained.

Property Inspector

Harry is based from our Wolverhampton branch and conducts all the property inspections for the office's covering areas. Having worked in Sales previously, Harry has an all round experience of the industry and knows exactly what it takes to make a house or apartment look top-notch.

Sara has recently joined team Ascend as a Property Inspector. Before joining us, Sara was a Property Manager at a local property company, so she's super clued up when it comes to the management and inventory processes. Covering the whole of the North West, Sara's out on the road each day making sure our properties are looking in top shape.

Senior Property Manager

Faye is one of our Senior Property Managers at our Head Office in Sale and manages a portfolio of properties working alongside her Portfolio Manager Mark. She has been in the Property Management industry for six years and has achieved the Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Letting & Property Management. This has given her firm knowledge of legal principles and guidelines for industry standards ensuring that the best service is given to all our clients.

Senior Property Manager

Robyn has been with Ascend since March '19 and was recently promoted to Senior Property Manager. She helps to lead Lora's busy team and manages her own sub portfolio. With over 5 years experience in property, Robyn has an in-depth knowledge of property management and inspections, and was previously a maintenance team leader.

Property Manager

Fiona is based at our head office in Sale and has worked in the property industry for over 10 years ranging from various roles within lettings, maintenance, property management and block management. She first joined Ascend back in March 2018 and was flying solo through our busiest period as our Referencing Co-ordinator. As a result of Fiona's hard work over the year, she was promoted to Property Manager and is an excellent team player and asset to Ascend.

Property Manager

Adam is one of our Property Managers at Head Office, working in Lora's busy team. He has worked in lettings and property management for the past 3 years. Beginning his Ascend journey in February 2019, Adam is the point of contact for the tenants under his management, ensuring the tenancies run smoothly for them from start to end!

Property Manager

Nicole works at our busy head office in Sale and has been in the property industry for 3 years. She's been involved in lettings, sales and property management during her career so far. She first joined Ascend back in April 2019 as an Assistant property manager and has since been promoted twice, first to Senior Assistant Property Manager and then recently to Property Manager. She's a great asset to the busy team at HQ!

Property Manager

Steph is based at our head office in Sale and has worked in the property industry for over 7 years ranging from various roles within lettings, maintenance and property management. She joined Ascend as a Property Manager in June 2019 and loves helping her tenants each and every day.

Assistant Property Manager

Katie works within Charlie's team as Assistant Property Manager and has been with Ascend since June 2019. Working part-time at head office, Katie is also a Real Estate Surveying student at the University of Salford and has a real passion for property.

Assistant Property Manager

Olivia is based at our Head Office in Sale and has worked in the industry for 3 years, ranging from lettings, maintenance and marketing. She joined us in August 2019 as Assistant Property Manager (APM) and supports the property managers and wider teams day to day.

Head of Lettings - Manchester

Rob is our Lettings Manager and manages the Deansgate branch alongside Lucy. Rob began as a Property Consultant in 2014 and worked his way up to his current position. His main job role includes managing the Deansgate team, valuations and winning new business. His passion for providing great service has seen him win numerous awards such as Best Lettings Agent in M3, Best Letting Agent in Manchester and the 2017 Gold Peoples Award for Best Customer Experience.

Head of Sales - Manchester

Lucy looks after the Sales team at the Deansgate office, and manages the branch alongside Rob. She has been in an Estate agency based role for around 5 years, and has built an extensive amount of knowledge on the industry & local market within this time.

Senior Lettings Negotiator - Manchester

Ewan is one of our Senior Lettings Negotiators for the business, and he's based in the Manchester Deansgate branch. He is well experienced in sales across the country but now is the master of Manchester when it comes to renting properties, with a particular expertise in Build to Rent. His energy and commitment is top class!

Sales Negotiator - Manchester

Ektha works in Lucy's team as a sales negotiator based in our Deansgate office. She conducts viewings and negotiates sales for our vendors and ensures a great service is provided throughout their experience with Ascend. Not only for the vendors, but for all potential buyers too.

Lettings Negotiator - Manchester

Ardent has been with Ascend Deansgate for some time now and is an external lettings negotiator meaning he's often back-to-back on viewings. Having worked in property sales previously, Ardent has extensive experience in the real estate market.

Branch Manager - Monton

Laura has been working in Estate Agency for the last five years starting as a Lettings Consultant in Manchester City Centre, progressing to Sales Consultant, Branch Valuer and is now Branch Manager at our Monton office. Having grown up in the Monton area Laura has a good understanding of the local market and brought her experience from the City Centre with her to provide a range of knowledge across all aspects of residential property.

Sales Negotiator - Monton

Elaine is our go-to at Monton for all things sales. She has lived in the Monton and surrounding area for most of her life and worked in Estate agency for the last few years building up her knowledge of the local market. She is always guaranteed to give a warm and inviting welcome at the Monton Office.

Senior Lettings Negotiator - Monton

Catalina is our Senior Lettings Negotiator at the Monton office. With extensive experience in Estate Agency, she brings a high level of proficiency and customer service to the job. She has worked in the industry for a good number of years now, for successful companies, and even contributed in building-up a new Estate Agents branch from a start-up level to best in the area. Her good knowledge of the industry’s best practices, organisational skills and proactive attitude recommend her as one of the best professionals in the area.

Lettings Negotiator - Monton

Irfan joined our Monton branch in January 2020 as a Lettings Negotiator - and a busy one too! Having worked in this role before he started Ascend, Irfan has natural rhythm when it comes to viewings and agreeing lets, so it's no surprise that he gets great customer reviews all the time.

Branch Manager - Liverpool

Kyle has been with Ascend for a while now and having recently been promoted to Branch Manager, it's safe to say he's a local expert of the Liverpool market. He manages the busy office covering all things sales and lettings and has a hardworking team that put customers first.

Sales & Lettings Negotiator - Liverpool

Joe joined us in February 2020 as a Sales and Lettings Negotiator for the Liverpool branch. He's well experienced having previously worked in Lettings before coming to Ascend. No day is the same for Joe; he's often back-to-back on viewings across Build to Rent sites in Liverpool or you might find him catching up in the office.

Branch Manager - Leeds

Scott is the driving force behind our office in Leeds City Centre, looking after both the Sales and Lettings team. With over 6 years industry experience within the Yorkshire residential market, his extensive knowledge and expertise supports the rapid expansion of the branch whilst ensuring a first class client experience.

Sales & Lettings Negotiator - Leeds

Erin is a Sales & Lettings Negotiator for Leeds, and works within Scott's branch team. He joined in the summer of 2019 and has been busy on viewings ever since, agreeing lets and sales across the board for Ascend.

Lettings Negotiator & Property Inspector - Leeds

Tom is part of the Ascend team, based in our Leeds branch. Recently graduated from the University of Leeds, he's our Lettings Negotiator and Property Inspector in Scott's team.

Branch Manager - Wolverhampton

Vicky joined team Ascend in March to manage the busy lettings team in the Wolverhampton branch. Having worked as a Lettings Manager previously, she's a local expert and has an extensive knowledge of the West Midlands' rental market.

Lettings Negotiator - Wolverhampton

Charlotte joined Ascend in January as a Lettings Negotiator when the new Wolverhampton branch opened. Having previously worked in lettings, Charlotte's passion for real estate is second to none and she's a real whizz when it comes to letting homes.

Lettings Negotiator - Wolverhampton

Courtney is a Lettings Negotiator for the new Wolverhampton office. Like Charlotte, she also joined at the time of opening the new branch. Having previously worked in a relationships role for a Property Investment firm, Courtney has a vast knowledge of the industry and Build to Rent sector and is a natural when it comes to people.

Marketing Manager

Jack has been with Ascend since 2018 and has since gone from being a one man band in the department, to being promoted and leading a team of four. After graduating university a few years ago, Jack went on to working in the industry straight away doing Marketing, Media and PR for a property management firm. At Ascend he's the expert when it comes to marketing communications for our landlords, tenants, buyers and vendors, and works closely with our BTR clients.

Marketing Executive

Tom joined Ascend in May 2019 after graduating with a First from Manchester Metropolitan University in Advertising & Brand Management. Having previously worked in marketing roles for events, fashion and retail, Tom has a wide-spread knowledge when it comes to brand communication. Tom works within Jack's team on various initiatives, from CRM and Social Media to Graphic Design and Content. His organisation skills are second to none.

Sam is the latest member of our growing marketing team. Having previously worked in property marketing, and events too, she's full of energy and gets involved in all aspects of our brand communications.
